Starting point:

Client didn’t have a functioning reporting platform neither a capability to systematic group level reporting. Understanding of information life cycle and how input data was formed was low.

End results:

As an end result, client received their first data warehouse solution. Client is now able, for the very first time, shape an overall understanding how much they have shared scholarships, to whom and when.

Historical visibility from process point of view has been created through a unified information model.

Client has now an understanding that a data warehouse by itself is not a solution for reporting issues, but information quality collected from several different sources needs to be significantly improved to achieve reliable reports.

What we did?

Project was driven by client’s IT organization. We built a data warehouse solution on top of MS SQL 2012, which collects information from source systems for monthly reporting. Source system information is collected through ETL-interface and is modified to unified information model for reporting.
